AIC-100i Warning - Killed my iPod Mini!

*WARNING WARNING WARNING*

I just installed my AIC-100i this morning after I put everything together, I plugged my iPod mini in for a test and found that my iPod never turned on. My iPod worked yesterday night without any problems what so ever, I kept my iPod in a safe place that night and this morning, so I know it works before I tested it with the AIC-100i.

This MAY be an isolated incident, but somehow the AIC-100i short circuited my iPod mini. I even brought my iPod mini to the apple store to look at. Now I have to send it in to get it repaired for $30+ replacement.

I am sooo pisssed off. Took me forever to install the AIC-100i, and bam, killed my iPod mini. So I now have the AIC-100i that is waiting for an iPod, which will take 2 weeks at least to get it back. I am afraid to test it on another person’s iPod mini.

Is the AIC-100i not compatible with iPod mini’s?

I don’t think anyone else had this problem except me! Prius Users Comments welcome!

Survivor - Episode 10/27 - Conspiracy

If anyone saw tonights episode you can see that Bobby John’s vote was not shown, but replaced by another vote and looped. It was really weird and not sure why it was edited out. Maybe his writing was too small?

What do you guys think?

Interview with Jessica Alba “Into The Blue”

alba-hot

Jessica Alba is Not Happy with Her Bikini Body in Into the Blue: “I guess that’s just the disconnect. I’m not the audience member. I’m actually the person doing it and it’s not fun. At the end of the day I just had to think that girls who have curves and aren’t the skinniest things in the world are going to feel more comfortable seeing me as the main character than someone else. So hopefully if I can do anything positive with it I had to just think that maybe I would help young girls with their body image.”

Jessica Alba on Getting Wet in Into the Blue: “ I’m really comfortable in the water and so that really wasn’t a problem. I’ve been swimming since before I knew how to walk because my mom was a lifeguard in Mississippi when I was baby. That’s so random. So she taught me to swim because she was always so nervous that I would fall into the pool and not know how to swim. So I’ve always been really comfortable in the water.”

Jessica Alba on the Stunt People on Into the Blue: “I feel more comfortable with stunt people than with actors because actors don’t know what they’re doing all the time especially when you’re doing physical stuff. They were just more water savvy than the other actors. They knew what was going on and about currents and everything. So they just made me feel more comfortable. Paul’s double was amazing. He was such a fast swimmer and I would just hold onto his shoulder. The hardest thing was just trying to hold my breath as long as him.”

Jessica Alba on the Sharks in Into the Blue: “The sharks mouth was open and was sort of coming at me and nobody was warning me. I just saw in my peripheral because of my mask that a shark’s mouth was coming towards me and so I just whacked at it and hit it away. What else are you going to do? So any time one came even this close to me I would just kind of shove it away because their noses are very sensitive and they’re not the smartest animals in the world. If it bumps into something it’s going to deflect it in the opposite direction.”

Jessica Alba on Water Safety for Into the Blue: “We’re under forty feet and then they take your mask off or they take your regulator out of your mouth and you can’t go to the top because your lungs will explode because you’re on assisted air. So you have to trust that when you run out of air that you’re going to find someone, and mind you these people are far away from us because the cameras are so wide. It just sort of helped me relax, the underwater safety people that were there and that I wasn’t going to drown.”

Jessica Alba Kept Sharks at Bay in Into the Blue: “I wouldn’t let them bump into me, but he was more like into letting them get close to him. I wasn’t. I was not happy with that at all. I would push them away before they even got close. It’s like baby snakes. They don’t know to just let out a piece of the venom. They let out all of the venom and it’s the same with little baby sharks. They’re just trying to get food and whatever is in the way they’ll just bite at and will nudge you. They are more playful and a little bit more wild.”

Jessica Alba on Paul Walker’s Diving: “You have to be able to equalize and Paul couldn’t equalize that well when he was going down. Maybe he can do it better now. Because he’s a surfer though he had this ear problem, but at the end, to be honest with you, after all this diving we all had sinus problems through the whole movie. So I think that there is one scene in particular where I had a bad sinus cold or something and my voice is really deep. I had a cold voice.”

Jessica Alba on Kicking Bad Guy Ass in Into the Blue: “He was huge. Huge. He’s like 6’5”, no joke. My back hurt. My legs hurt. By the way, none of that stuff was in the original script. In the original script it was like me trapped under the boat, passed out and handcuffed to the dead guy and then Paul comes and saves the day. And I was like, ‘Now, you guys did get me to play the girl and I think that women want to see a girl kick ass.’ Everyone was cool with it. And then I think that it made for a more interesting ending.”

The Future of Sue Storm and Reed Richards in Fantastic Four II: “I think that they need to get married. I mean, I know what the first twenty minutes are going to be of the movie. It’s really cool, but yeah, they’re getting married. Maybe I’m giving away too much, but yeah.”

Jessica Alba on Scott Caan’s “Mexican” Remarks in Into the Blue: “I was pretty irritated, and Scott grew up in Southern California and he actually, I think, says that he can speak a little bit of Spanish which is more Spanish than I can speak. It wasn’t spoken in my house at all and my father doesn’t speak it at all. But I was a bit irritated, and when you are the only half minority there is nothing that you can really say because everyone else is white. I called him a jerk and a couple of other things, but of course what makes the film is that. I didn’t appreciate that too much, but growing up and not really fitting into a Latin or a white or an anything, no one ever accepted me and so I kind of get the brunt of all those weird, racial slurs.”

Where are you from?

That is the question…

Where are you from?……are you from a gang or something?

Why do people when I first meet them ask me this question….What does this really mean…What do they expect back…Did they mean where were you born? Where were you raised up…?

I always answer back, what do you mean?

Next time be specific when asking these kinds of questions.

Christine + Car Accident = How Funny

So here is the story…

Today is Christine’s birthday and this is what happened…she got in a car accident. Just a small one though, small small bump to the NEW car in front of her. While she was exchanging information with the guy, she locked herself out of her car, with her phone, keys, and insurance papers…. dummy

A cop came and also the free tow trucks which you can call them with your cellphone “#399″. These guys tried opening her car, but accidentally dropped their tool inside her car…dummy

While all this was happening her cousin and her uncle passed by her accident without knowing its her. Her cousin commented to her dad, “how stupid are those people, haha”. Her cousin had an accident at the same spot a few months ago.

Back to Christine. Christine then gets a ride from the Cop to go to her cousins house. She then tells her cousin of her ordeal, her cousin laughs. Her uncle then calls AAA to save her. 2 minutes later, car unlocks, thats it!

She was late to her facial - and this was her excuse, which they probably did not believe in her.

She just got some lotto tickets because her luck is so bad she just might win! [We will See, hehe]

“If I was a writer of friends or something, this could be one of the episodes” - Christine

UPDATE: Guess what, the cop called and asked my girlfriend Christine out today….come on!

coincidence sometimes is funny

Get this,

My friend Tejas’s girlfriends’ friend gave my Tejas’s girlfriend a present in a nordstrom bag, but left it at my house. So i gave the present to Lew to give back to Tejas because he lives closer. Then Lew put the present in the back of his truck, that same night it was Lew’s sisters’ birthday, so all her friends started loading all her birthday presents on the back of his truck. Coincidence is that Lew sisters’ friends all work for nordstrom, meaning most of her presents where from nordstrom also. So when she say the nordstrom bag, she opened it. What a coincidence! Which is pretty damn funny.

Computer Keyboards In Movies

My Pet Peeve.

I have how in the movies nobody uses a mouse!!!!!. You know, how people are always typing on their keyboard to get windows to open up and get into classified information.

It makes NO SENSE.

I admit, you can technically do everything with a keyboard as you can with a mouse, BUT you have to be very computer savvy and have time on your hands.

What I recommend to Hollywood: Make the clicking noises instead when the actor/actress moves their mouse, is that so HARd?

40 Year Old Virgin - Movie Review

40 year old virgin movie review
This movie surprised me. It was a really fun movie to sit through.

It is a story about a 40 year old that doesn’t get laid until he meets this Ebay lady. He goes through adventures when his co-workers find out that he is a virgin.

Although his friends and his adventures are not realistic, there is a realistic quality to this movie, in it that actual 40 year old virgins will behave this way.

So guys & GIRLS go watch this movie.

Carpool lanes open to hybrids

Woohoo! Finally gas price are going up, and now this!

Making the value of my car rise =)

Recent enactment of the 2005 Federal transportation bill allows California to fully implement Assembly Bill 2628. AB 2628, signed into law on September 23, 2004, allows single-occupant use of High Occupancy Vehicle (HOVs) lanes by the cleanest alternative fuel, hybrid, and full-electric vehicles. Use of these lanes with only one occupant requires an identification sticker issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Please note that not all alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles meet the requirements of
AB 2628 and only the following vehicles qualify for single occupant HOV lanes stickers.

The HOV sticker application form is available at: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/forms/reg/reg1000.htm

For information regarding Fastrak requirements for Bay Area residents click here.

For information regarding hybrids not listed as qualified click here.

For additional information not listed below please contact the public information office at (800) 242-4450.

I am so happy, I already sent and applied the first day this news came out, thanks to my bro Steve!

Life is like the freeway

Driving in traffic can really kill you or make you think….

Life is like a freeway

You can drive really fast to get somewhere but it will only get you there faster ~10 minutes.
I can drive normal speed and a lot of times get to the same spot around the same exact time.
If you pick the right lanes you can a lot of times get there faster in a slower speed, rather than cutting in and out of lanes to get ahead.

In Life you can take the fast way to get to your career by taking shortcuts such as work early in life, get money from your parents, cheat on tests, cheat on life, but it might not get you there faster. You just have to be smart in the paths that you take or you will be behind the rest. So know the road and find which road takes you there the most efficient way.
